Where are you Christmas?

I have no idea why, but as soon as christmas approaches, there is something in me that makes me want to blog. Not sure why. Actually, the song 'Happy Xmas, War is Over' makes me want to blog. There is something about the lyrics that make me want to share secrets with everyone or something - i can't explain it.

Part of my resolution for 2011 is to blog and write some more - so I'm just getting an early start.

For these upcoming 10 days of christmas I am going to post a video or song or clip from a christmas movie. Specifically one with a message.

For this first installment, I would like us all to think about what christmas really means to us and and how we can return to the things that make us happy and excited. In this song, Cindy Lou Who is asking, Where are you, Christmas?

I am going through a similar problem this year - there is something about not being with my family throughout this month that is refraining me from being in the christmas spirit. So, I am also asking

"Where are you Christmas Why can't I find you"

I love this song for so many reasons - especially because of the beautiful message it reveals:

"If there is love in your heart and your mind - You will feel like Christmas all the time"
